The ancient ancient Pahranagats  traveled back and forth to socialize and trade. This area apprears to be one of the many areas they camped and socialized.

According to many experts, the atlatl was replaced by the bow and arrow  in western North America approx. 1500 years ago. This is a good age marker when trying to decide just how ancient the rock art is.
